There may have been fireworks all over the country on Saturday, but the real celebration was happening at the Brookmeadow Country Club in Canton, MA, as Sarah and Shawn celebrated their wedding!

I met Sarah and her ladies at the country club in the afternoon, and hung out with them in the bridal suite as they prepared for the wedding. Since the bridal suite was just off the reception hall, as soon as Sarah was dressed and ready, we used the awesome lighting in the reception room to capture her bridal portraits. Then, since everyone was in the same building, I had the chance to hang out with Shawn and the guys as they were hanging out and waiting for the action. We didn’t have to wait long, and after a few photos, we headed out to the garden, where the weather was perfect for an outdoor ceremony.

The ceremony went off without a hitch, and soon Sarah and Shawn were walking off together for their first photos as a married couple. We started out a a beautiful little shaded area on the course, but I quickly spotted a cool maintenance building that gave us another option. Gas pumps anyone :)! Soon enough, however, it was time to head back, and the family was waiting with warm greetings as the reception got underway. That’s when the fireworks really started, as the Event Connection DJ kept the room jumping the entire night!
