Luke’s Day Out with Thomas (June 16, 2007)
I met someone famous this weekend…one of Luke’s favorite celebrities…the one, the only, Thomas the Tank Engine. Thomas made the log journey from whatever-that-island-is-called where he lives to make an appearance at Edaville Railroad in Carver, MA. Luke had the time of his life…and Melanie and I enjoyed his delight. Of course we took photos.
Enjoying the ride…all weekend he relived it saying repeatedly “I ride Thomas!”

And the star himself…how does Thomas stay so danged happy all the time…I think he smokes…
The gift shop people were “nice” enough to put out lots of product for the kids to try out…

I LOVE the pictures! My favorite is the one in the “fast” turtle. Oh, on the plane picture, I noticed you were flying with him. Did you not trust him to stay seated? Hmmm, memories from the past. You didn’t think he might try to climb over into the back while flying in midair, giving his mom and the operator heart failure, did you?
