Chloe and Jamie’s Wedding at the Audubon Habitat in Belmont, MA
Tucked away in a little nook in a suburb of Boston, is a delightful little former estate that houses the Massachusetts Audubon Habitat. It was there that I met Chloe, Jamie and 60 of their closest friends and family for their beautifully intimate wedding.
I began with Chloe in the classroom upstairs, where she and her bridesmaids were dressing for the main event. After a few photos of girls and the wedding details, I headed down into the garden where the guests were already gathering. Soon the ceremony began, with friends of the couple introducing the ceremony with a couple of live songs accompanied by a banjo and an upright bass. The rest of the ceremony was similarly beautiful and uniquely them as they made their vows under the late afternoon skies.
After the ceremony, Chloe and Jamie took a few moments to greet their guests, then we took a walk around the beautiful grounds, using the elegant backdrops to create beautiful portraits of the newly married couple. Then it was time for the reception, which was as unique as the rest of the event. After starting with the cake cutting, the guests were seated for a delicious dinner. Once everyone had eaten their fill the new couple was toasted by the best man and maid of honor. Full and happy, everyone moved inside the gallery where Chloe’s brother and sister played guitar, and sang their first dance song live!
