Part two of my double header weekend had me heading back to Worcester (I really love these weddings that are close to home!) We began the day at Charlene’s family home where she was surrounded by her bridesmaids and family in a whirlwind of activity. After capturing a few photos of the preparations and a few portraits of the family in their cozy, warm, living room, we took the long 5oo yard trek to “Our Lady of the Rosary” church for the ceremony. I’ve honestly never seen a shorter line on my GPS than the one from their home to the church. I think “she” laughed at me when I instructed her to find the way!

The ceremony was beautiful. Afterwards we stuck around for formal photos at the altar, then took a short drive to the Wachusett Country Club in West Boylston. After a couple of photos outside with the wedding party, it was time for some portraits with Charlene and Dan. I noticed a beautiful spot under a row of trees a short distance away. The problem was, there was a few inches of snow covering the path to get there. “No problem,” said Charlene, “I’m only wearing this dress once”. With that she trekked through the snow to the path! As soon as I heard that, I knew we were in for quite a party, and the night didn’t disappoint! Between the food that was prepared perfectly (I think the fact that Charlene’s dad was the head chef for the country club added just a little extra pride to the spread) to the fantastic entertainment provided by Brian from Sonic DJ, the room was hopping all evening!
