Mohini and Ranesh’s Portraits in Newton Highlands MA
Catching up with Mohini and Ranesh has never been so fun as this year we decided to begin our session on a playground in Newton Highlands, MA. And the almost two year old twins joyfully romped through the session from playground to bricked paths.
Arriving on the playground, they wasted no time in showing me what expert sliders, climbers, jumpers and light identifiers they have become. The ran up and down the equipment, pausing occasionally to throw me a smile. The playground overlooked a lovely trail with some late fall foliage still on display, and the pair was delighted to play in the leaves. Moving on we found an abandoned putting green, with a surface perfect for running and chasing. A few photos with Mom and Dad capped off the session with the kids smiling and handing out high fives to the end!

Vivienne’s One Year Portrait Session in Westford, MA
Saturday was a buys day here at Jamison Wexler Photography, and part two found me in Westford, MA, where I got to catch up with one of my wedding couple’s and meet their beautiful just-turned-one-year-old daughter Vivienne!
I arrived just as Vivienne was waking up from her afternoon nap, and after a few minutes of play time in her home, we wasted no time heading outside. The family is lucky enough to live on a beautiful hiking trail down to a small river, so that is where Vivienne guided us to begin the session. She posed with Mom and Dad on the small bridge that spanned the river, then on a cool log on the riverside. We headed up a hill to find more cool woodland features, and she was willing to explore them all. All that exploring made her a little hungry, so we headed back to the home for a couple of handfulls of raisins, before a quick change, and photo shoot part two in the back yard!

Diana & Louis’ Engagement Portraits in West Boylston, MA
Fall 2015 is hanging on for dear life - thankfully so - because there was still plenty of fall left to serve as a backdrop for Diana and Louis’ engagement portrait session at the Old Stone Church in West Boylston, MA.
We met at the historic church and began a lap around it…with each new spot on our tour the happy couple became a little more relaxed with the process. Before they knew it they were laughing and joking and enjoying ourselves as we took advantage of the antique architecture, the lakeside location, and the beautiful morning. After completing the warm up lap, we decided to explore the woods a bit, braving ticks to create a series of photos underneath a large tree with bright golden leaves. If you stand at just the right spot on the property, you can see Wachusett Mountain, where the couple decided to embark upon this life long journey. A quick trip up the road gave us a beautiful background with both the mountain and the church in the background. I can’t wait to bundle up for their February wedding!
