Margot had a great weekend.  On Saturday, she turned one, and was the center of attention at her own backyard garden party with her family at their Newton, MA home.  Sunday she was the center of attention again, though she had to share it a bit with big sis, when I arrived for her one year portrait session.

Margot and Cora were already wearing pretty spring dresses, so we hit the ground running.  First we hung around the living room a bit while the girls showed me their favorite toys, then we headed out into the back yard, where Cora showed me her favorite flowers, and how to plant them…and Margot showed me how to mow the lawn.  A quick outfit change for Margot, and we took a walk down the street to the local playground, where the girls wasted no time climbing and sliding and running…even getting me in on the slide action.  Back home, a spontaneous game of hide-n-seek broke out in the front yard, with the entire family joining in!
