3 Month Old Jack and Henry’s Portrait Session in Worcester MA
Continuing the story of Jack and his big brother Henry, we now find little Jack and 3 months and Henry at 2 two and a very talkative half. We resume their story at their awesome Worcester home where everyone was awakening from naps just as I arrived.
Henry woke up in a great mood, and wasted no time talking my ear off while showing me his ball playing hall. Everyone should have one of those for the winter! Then we headed into the living room to wake up little jack who was happily swinging and dozing. While Jack woke up, Henry had fun with a card game with Dad followed by a trip through his favorite toys. Fully awake, it was Jack’s turn to show off his charming smile before trying on his fox hat again. His session continued in the playroom, where he delighted in playing blocks with his big brother. The smiles and activity didn’t look like it was even close to over as I made my exit!

Ishwar and Kamakshi’s Family Portrait Session in Waban, MA
A couple of years ago I photographed an amazing traditional Indian wedding in Boston. The beautiful Mandap had steps that were bordered by a set of cool elephants…elephants that were irresistible to a 4 year old boy who just wanted a ride! Fast forward to the present time, and little Ishwar is now a first grader with a little sister. But his enthusiasm is thankfully undiminished, as he showed me when I met the family in their Waban, MA home for a photo session.
Cute little Kamakshi threw me a welcoming smile as soon as I walked through the door, and I knew she was going to be a natural in front of the camera. She didn’t disappoint, throwing me cute looks for the entire session. We started out tin the living room, where she walked around and showed me her most excellent collection of books. Then we decided to check out the back yard, with Ishwar getting in on the action with a few photos of his own, and the family getting together. It was a little chilly, so we headed back inside, Ishwar delightedly finding a package containing some Harry Potter glasses on the front step. He wasted no time in modeling them for me as soon as he changed into a second outfit. And while we were checking out his new specs, Kamakshi was changing too. Soon she was ready for another turn in front of the camera, and Mom and Dad’s bed proved to be the perfect location!

Ronik’s 1 Year portrait Session in Boston, MA
It’s been an exciting year getting to know little Ronik as he has grown from the cutest little newborn into the cutest little toddler. This week he turned 1, and I got to hang out with him on this momentous milestone and capture his new mobility, his continued love for hats, and his discovery of how smashable a cake can be!
When I arrived at the family apartment in Boston’s Back Bay, we decided to try to beat the rain and the sunset, and head right to the park. It was a bit chilly, but Ronik was a trouper, delighting in walking around the playground near their home, and walking with Mom and Dad, and just …walking! After a bit of a play, we headed back to the homestead, pausing for a bit in the lobby where Ronik took a bite of beantown’s Improper Bostonian magazine. Back upstairs, and Ronik took the time to patiently pose with all of his family that were there to celebrate with him and enjoy some more romping with Mom and Dad. Then it was cake time, everyone singing Happy Birthday, and giving him the gift of unbridled access to the pastry…a gift that he approached with trepidation before discovering how much fun handfuls of frosting can be!
