Jack and Henry’s Portrait Session in Worcester, MA
When we last hung out with little Henry, he had just turned one year old, and punctuated his first year series of photos with a fun photo session at his Worcester home. Fast forward almost a year later, and Henry has remembered all of his modeling moves…and has been showing a few of them to his one-week old brother, Jack!
Jack was still napping when I arrived at their Worcester home, and Henry couldn’t wait to show me his new playground. It was a beautiful day, so we headed outside to check it out. After climbing around for a bit, Henry and his Dad took me to the secret “bear cave” just off their back yard. While we were carousing in the yard, Mom woke baby Jack up, and we headed inside to greet his newborn perfection. We started out cuddling with mom and big bro in the living room, before checking out his freshly decorated bedroom. The Jack wanted to play outside, so we returned to the yard, where the two brothers had a chance to play together a bit. When Jack started to get a bit tired, Henry proved his big bother qualifications comforting him back to sleep.

Elizabeth & Austin’s Wedding at the Lenox Hotel in Boston, MA
It’s November in New England, and the chill in the air is a reminder that winter is only a whisper away. Thankfully, there are amazing love stories like Elizabeth and Austin’s wedding at the Lenox Hotel in Boston MA, to keep us warm from the inside out!
We hit the ground running when I met Elizabeth, her bridesmaids and bridesmen in their suite at the Lenox. Everyone jumped right into their wedding attire, and enjoyed a quick champagne toast before we all headed downstairs for photos in the Dome Room in front of the beautiful floral-festooned chuppa. After working though the family groupings, we made ourselves scarce. We escaped into in the boardroom, while the guests filled up the beautiful domed room, waiting for the main event. It was worth the wait as Elizabeth and Austin added there own twists on several wedding traditions in a ceremony that was perfectly them. Their hearts warmed from the love exchanged, we decided to brave the chill and take a few photos right outside the hotel. A few minutes of that, and our cold fingers overruled our warm hearts, and we finished their photo session in the empty restaurant. The it was upstairs, where the newly married couple warmed themselves with the hugs from their friends and family. And it only got warmer from there, as the fun and food and dancing kicked into full swing!

The Conway Family Portraits in Middleton, MA
The last time we checked in with the Conway family, little Ava was just a year old, and had the run of the house. Two years later she still runs the house, but now her little brother, Gavin, is here to give her a little help!
When I arrived at the Conway home in Middleton MA, Gavin was still sleeping, but Ava was more than willing to show me around. She was excited to show me her princess castle, and her wardrobe of princess dresses, and how her bed made an excellent trampoline. With all of this energy on display. Mom thought it might be a good idea to take it outside, so we headed into the back yard to check out the swing set. Gavin must have heard all of the fun we were having, because he decided to join us outside to hang on the lawn with the family, and show his best baby modeling chops in the old family wheelbarrow. Then it was back inside to carry on the red chair tradition before gathering up the family for one last portrait on the steps.

Cael, Mya, and Kali’s Portraits at Tufts University in Grafton, MA
When Kali’s mom contacted me for this portrait shoot, she had some ideas. She wanted balloons, and tall grass, and a perfect fall day. Fortunately, I was able to order up all three for Kali, Cael, and Mya’s photo shoot at Tufts University in Grafton, MA.
I began the shoot with Cael and Mya, at the iconic big red barn. The leaves were in full bloom, and the kids came ready to frolic! We wandered around the barn for a bit, then headed over to a particularly colorful tree to pick leaves, then over to a patch of tall bushes where Cael and Mya shared a few sibling secrets. Back across the road, we took a couple more photos of the siblings at the old gazebo, before being joined by cousin Kali and her box of fun photo props. We wasted no time heading out into the field where the tall grass, and the beautiful morning sun provided the perfect backdrop for Kali to showcase her cuteness with her balloons and without. A quick wardrobe change and back up to the big red barn for a few fairy princess poses. Kali’s final shot needed a dark space, so we headed over to her cus’ house and turned off all the lights. After all of that hard work, a cuddle with Mom was in order, and Kali was all to happy to oblige!

Michelle & Parker’s Engagement Portraits at Sharkmouth Estate in Manchester By The Sea, MA
A beautiful fall evening, at an amazing antique estate, on a bluff overlooking the ocean, in a quiet seaside town…if that sounds like the plot for a romantic movie, you are not far off the mark. Next year, Michelle and Parker will be tying the knot at this amazing property, so we decided to do a little location scouting, and take a bunch of awesome engagement portraits at the same time!
I met Michelle and Parker at a beautiful little in just up the road from the town line for a few fun photos next to the town line sign. Then we hopped into out cars and headed over to the Sharkmouth Estate itself. There we were greeted by the stately old stone mansion. We immediately headed beck to the ocean view veranda, and enjoyed a glass of champagne together, before heading down the hill and checking out lovely old tree in the meadow where the two will become “official”. Bear, the family pug, came along with us, and added his small, dark, charm to the portraits. A quick outfit change, and we headed down to the rocky shoreline to enjoy the sunset together. It was the perfect way to end a perfect evening!
