Amanda & Josh’s Wedding at The Landing at Pine Point in Scarborough, ME
I’m on vacation this week, but I just had to pop in and share a few of my favorite images from Amanda and Josh’s amazing coastal wedding at the Landing at Pine Point in Scarborough, Maine.
I arrived at the awesome old converted church just as the ladies were having a spot of champagne and preparing to start the process of getting done up for the wedding. A few sips and they were off to the bridal suite, emerging a few moments later in lovely dresses and beautiful smiles. Then we were off to the races, pausing for a few photos of Amanda as the guests filtered in to the to the sun dappled garden where the ceremony was about to take place. The golden sunlight haloed Amanda as her dad escorted down the aisle into the waiting arms of her new husband. After speaking the words that would unite them forever, they walked back through the crowd of celebrants who showered them with rose pedals. A short walk across the street yielded a great location for their first portrait shoot as a married couple, and we arrived back just in time for the party. And party is too mild of a word to describe the joyful celebration that began with a perfectly choreographed first dance, and ended with a run through a sea of guests holding sparklers, with lots of laughter and love, and dancing in between!

Sally & Jared’s Wedding at Park Street Church in Boston, MA
I’ve walked the Freedom Trail in Boston many times over the years, visiting the Park Street Church cemetery, where so many of the most important figures in American History are buried, but Saturday I got to go inside and witness living family history being made at Sally and Jared’s beautiful Park Street Church, Boston, wedding.
Sally sings in the Park Street Church choir, so it was only fitting that she and her bridesmaids should get ready for the big day in the choir loft amongst the black robes, musical score sheets, and booming sounds of the organist warming up just outside the door. In no time at all, Sally was dressed and ready to meet her groom-to-be downstairs for a pre-wedding photo walk on the neighboring Boston Common. There they were cheered by throngs of passers by enjoying the beautiful summer day. Back inside a throng of their closest friends and family awaited, and were no less enthusiastic in singing and worshiping alongside Sally and Jared as they became one. After gathering at the front of the church for a few family photos, we headed over to the Hawthorne Bar at the Hotel Commonwealth for the continuation of the festivities. The bar is set up to mimic a comfortable set of rooms, with couches and overstuffed chairs, and perfectly matched the close family mood of the event. The gathered guests spent the evening chatting, and dancing, and celebrating the joyful event that brought them all together.

Tara and Robert’s Wedding at St Joseph’s Church in Quincy, MA and Cohasset Harbor Inn in Cohasset, MA
If a laid back party at a trendy open space in a beautiful seaside town on a perfect summer day is your kind of scene, than Tara and Bobby pulled off the perfect wedding at St Joseph’s Church in Quincy, MA and the Cohasset Harbor Inn in Cohasset, MA!
When I arrived at St Joseph’s Church in Quincy, Tara and Bobby’s family and friends were all pitching in to decorate the church while Bobby happily chatted with the arriving celebrants. Soon the white limousine bearing the bride pulled up, and the wedding was on! It was a beautiful Mass full of smiles and joy and when it ended, Tara and Bobby were officially married. To the cheers of the assembled crowd, they exited the church as husband and wife into the awaiting, long, white chariot for the short ride to Cohasset. I applied the lead a little to beat them there, and scouted out a really cool little park with a lighthouse for their wedding day portraits. Then it was back to the Cohaset Harbor Inn where everyone was waiting to hoist a drink with the couple, and dance with them, and celebrate their wedding in grand style as the sun set over the harbor.
