This weekend I had the opportunity to reconnect with Christina and David at their beautiful home in Georgetown, MA. The last time we hung out was at their fun filled wedding in Hartford, and married life has been good to them. In just a few weeks, they are expecting the arrival of a little bundle of joy, and they wanted to capture their last few weeks as a twosome.
We began the session at a traditional portrait spot at the foot of the stairs, where their two dogs got in on the family love. Upstairs, the lovely afternoon light filtered through the windows of the nearly finished nursery, as Christina and David gave me the tour. The next stop led us to a freshly painted guest bedroom, where the bare walls provided a clean background for portraits of the couple. Next we headed back down stairs to the dining room which featured more of the beautiful light, along with interesting furnishings, and an awesome cowhide rug. We started to feel brave, so we adventured outside for a quick 10 minutes in the January chill as the late afternoon sun filtered through the trees of their wooded yard. Back into the warm living room, we took advantage of the awesome fireplace, before finishing the session with a family cuddle in a favorite chair.
